Lavender is one of my favorite herbs. Today after picking raspberries my family and I found a u-pick lavender farm somewhere down Scholls. The smell of the purple blossoms filled the air. Humming bees floated along methodically and worked late into the afternoon. I wish I could have stayed and painted the day away, but my camera had to do. Maybe there will be some time to do some studies off my favorite shots.
