FAQ //
What does Rebel Design mean to you?
The name Rebel is as an acronym derived from R.achel E.izabeth Bel.gard. I also see my way of
designing tangibly before integrating the computer whenever possible somewhat rebellious in today's larger design market.
The main body of the logo consists of the golden ratio, and can be used with/without 'rebel'. The color orange was chosen because I read a study that says it stimulates creativity and hunger. Oh, it also happens to be my favorite.

What is your favorite part of design?
My favorite part of design is serving the clients and creating something that represents them and meets their needs. I also embrace the challenge of visually representing what people can't put to words.

    When are you most creative?
A  big part of being paid as a designer is the ability to think creatively on demand and even on the spot. Ultimately a client is hiring you because of how you perceive the world and is looking for you to perceive and translate their world visually. Like most designers thinking creatively and even obscurely comes naturally to me. I'd say my most creative time is anywhere from 1 a.m. - 5 a.m. One practice that has produced many good works has been keeping a journal next to my bed, where in the middle of a R.E.M. cycle I throw my arm over and doodle some lines or scribble down some words hopefully somewhere on the page. I also enjoy journaling my dreams.
