The love of typography and texture birthed this creation. Taking design outside of the computer is a passion of mine. I long to understand the roots of design when hand cut rubylith type graced portfolios and pantone swatches were sheets. This is such a foreign world to me. I hope to embrace both past and present to bring a new perspective to future design.
This particular piece was done with two pieces of paper, same 'O', same placement - I cut both, leaving the blue attached .25'' at the ends and interlaced the yellow. The goal was to create a textured motion effect.
